Abstract

GOMEZ-REDONDO, Susana; FRANCISCO CARRERA, Francisco José  and  SANZ MOLINA, Lidia. Under the Sign of Differences: An Edusemiotic Approach to Vulnerability. En-clav. pen [online]. 2022, vol.16, n.31, e495.  Epub Mar 21, 2022. ISSN 2594-1100.  https://doi.org/10.46530/ecdp.v0i31.495.

From the consideration that the human being is a sign among other signs and a relational being, the following pages offer an approach to the existing connections between edusemiotics (especially in its ethical dimension) and the conceptions around the differences and human vulnerability. Based on Peirce's semiotics and the edusemiotic proposal by Semetsky, it comtemplates the principles Nodding's ethics of care as well as sociocultural and hermenetical perspectives.

Keywords : edusemiotics; education; sign; semiosis; differences; vulnerability.
