We documented a case of partial leucism in a brown-headed cowbird (Molothrus ater) for the first time in the state of Durango. This species is considered to be the most common brood parasite in North America. It is part of the avifauna present in agricultural and cattle production areas. We observed this specimen for two months, starting on Febrary 25th, 2015, at the Instituto Tecnológico del Valle del Guadiana.
