Abstract

ARRIAGA-OCHOA, Julio Adrián; SOLIS-MARIN, Francisco Alonso; LAGUARDA-FIGUERAS, Alfredo  and  SOLIS-WEISS, Vivianne. First record of Lissothuria antillensis (Echinodermata: Holothuroidea) from the Gulf of Mexico. Rev. Mex. Biodiv. [online]. 2012, vol.83, n.1, pp.291-293. ISSN 2007-8706.

Two specimens of Lissothuria antillensis Pawson, 1967 were collected at 2 localities from the Gulf of Mexico, Isla Verde and Tuxpan Reef, Veracruz, Mexico. This species had been reported previously only from the Caribbean Sea.

Keywords : new record; Gulf of Mexico; family Psolidae; Veracruz.
