Abstract

VALADES, Diego. Human rights, legal order and inequality. Economía UNAM [online]. 2019, vol.16, n.46, pp.157-166.  Epub June 17, 2020. ISSN 1665-952X.  https://doi.org/10.22201/fe.24488143e.2019.46.442.

Human rights, legal order and inequality. The debate on inequality is one of the major themes of the social sciences, especially economics, sociology and anthropology. The normative approach is also relevant, because a better or worse institutional design can influence the effectiveness of measures taken to combat inequality. It is also necessary to establish the relationship between normative statements and the normalized reality, and to identify possible contradictions and inadequacies in the legal system that may affect decisions related to the interdiction of inequality.
