This article presents the results of a research work carried out to find the origins and arrival of the Afro-Brazilian practice of Capoeira of the Angola style in the Republic of Korea and specifically in its capital city: Seoul, based on the narratives of key role-playing practitioners. With this information, it is intended to stablish some documented basis to advance on to the further and deeper analysis and discussion on the global development and expansion of this practice.
