Abstract

GONZALEZ PADILLA, Roy. ¿Antagónicos ideológicos o pragmáticos políticos? El navismo y sus dinámicas aliancistas. Revista Col. San Luis [online]. 2015, vol.5, n.9, pp.100-136. ISSN 2007-8846.

Back in the nineties, the Mexican political system witnessed the emergence of an atypical form of party competition in elections for governor, mainly characterized by the integration of a correlation of dogmatically opposing forces but whose purpose, among other features observed here, allowed their proximity: to depose the hegemonic party at that time. As such, this paper's main objective is to illustrate the causal structure of such political phenomenon that would come to shape what would later be consolidated as the dominant strategy in the search and subsequent attainment of political power, namely, electoral alliances among ideological antagonists.

Keywords : political parties; electoral alliances; coalitions; elections; navismo.
