Abstract

MANAVELLA, Agustina María; PAOLONI, Paola Verónica  and  RINAUDO, María Cristina. Features of the tasks linked to the engagement to learning the trade. An approach from a workshop in work training space. Sinéctica [online]. 2021, n.57, e1301.  Epub Dec 13, 2021. ISSN 2007-7033.  https://doi.org/10.31391/s2007-7033(2021)0057-006.

The study analyses the properties of the proposed tasks in a context of job training and their link with the engagement to learning the trade. We worked with the workshop leader and 10 participants who attended a makeup training, offered in a city in the province of Córdoba (Argentina), from June to December 2017. Non-participant observations and individual and semi-structured interviews were carried out for data collection. The aspects that were analysed were the sequencing of the meetings, the characteristics of the tasks and the evaluations that were proposed during the training. The results allow us to recognize that, in non-formal contexts, genuine work instances, which involve interaction and putting into practice the acquired knowledge, are potentially significant, promoting in the participants the engagement to learning the trade. It concludes with the importance of advancing in the study of the particularities that the engagement acquires in diverse learning contexts.

Keywords : non-formal education; trades learning; engagement; learning tasks; evaluative instances.
