The following paper aims to analyze the social construction of bodies and subjectivities of sexual diversity in Latin America. First of all I will talk about power technologies that mold subjects and its relationship with performative political practices of bodies that subvert gender rules. Then, I will talk about Queer Theory proposals and its debate with feminist theories and decolonial thinking. This is an invitation to an critical view of our own political genealogies of sexual dissidence.
