Since the middle of the last century, the concern for a healthy environment has been increasing and has caused environmental regulation to be analyzed by the States based on their Constitutions and federal laws. I will brief analyze article 4 of the Constitution to reflect on the status of animals when speaking of the right to a healthy environment, since it is in the environment where animals and, in general, all living beings are born, grow and reproduce.
