This article presents the application of the multicriteria method and the forecast method in an SME in the State of Mexico for the selection of suppliers. It was developed using the Minitab®18 software, developing a time analysis, where the objective of increasing demand by 10 % was consolidated; evaluating the product with the highest sales in a period of 15 days during the three main months where the demand is high, obtaining as a result the sales forecast is 54 and 55 tacos per day. For the Electre I method, matrices were developed evaluating the 13 suppliers of the SME, the result was that supplier 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9 and 12 stand out, corresponding to 53 %, discarding supplier 2, 6 , 8, 10, 11 and 13 corresponding to 46 %, it was possible to increase the choice of suppliers with higher value.
