Abstract

The economic globalization has produced a new organization of production together with new mechanisms to inter labor force. With this preamble, the article has as an objective to analyze the labor conditions of young population, between 14 and 29 years of age, in the cities of Toluca and Merida, Mexico. The study was carried out from the estimation of the Index of Labor Precariousness and with data from the National Survey on Occupation and Employment (ENOE) in the first quarters of 2005, 2009 and 2010.
