In 1971 the epidemiological transition was proposed by Adbel Omran. Today, this approach in the population studies is very extend. The purpose of this article is to respond the following two questions: is the epidemiological transition useful instrument to predict the health conditions of the people?; and does the framework of epidemiological transition describe of real world?
