Abstract

PLATTS, Mark. ¿Quiénes tienen derechos humanos?. Isonomía [online]. 2010, n.33, pp.125-145. ISSN 1405-0218.

The seemingly natural idea that all human beings have human rights has been challenged by James Griffin in his recent book On Human Rights. This article criticizes Griffin's main arguments in favour of that challenge, claiming them to be inconsistent with things he wishes to say about people with certain discapacities; it also tentatively suggests that certain general truths about rights might nonetheless favour the kind of challenge in question.

Keywords : human rights; bearers of human rights; discapacities.
