During the 1990s, in Argentina, as in other Latin American countries, profound changes were implemented consolidated the neoliberal model. In the national oil and gas sector were eliminated state regulations, measures granted unrestricted dominance "market" over the State. This contributed to a marked increase in the accumulation of capital at the expense of few actors rational exploitation of strategic resources and nonrenewable. In this sense, this article aims to analyze the sectoral deregulation and generating extraordinary profits in the Argentine market in the last twenty years.
