This article examines the participation of Margarita Robles de Mendoza in the Inter-American Commission of Women, as well as her general struggle for female suffrage in Mexico. At the same time, it analyzes Mexican women's involvement in international political spheres and their contribution to the broader feminist movement. Finally it discusses their social and political relationships with male figures in the Mexican government as well as their ideas and proposals concerning the vote.
