Abstract

At present, in the literature review on management science there is a growing interest between researchers and academics in collaboration as a business strategy, even more in countries under development, for example México, and its relation with innovation activities. At the same time, the collaboration concept and its potential application in innovation activities in companies, especially in small and medium enterprises is a topic poorly analyse from this angle in the current research. Therefore, the objective of this empirical study is to identify the current relationship between collaboration and innovation activities in small and medium enterprises based in Aguascalientes, México. The results obtained, and explained in this paper, have demonstrated that there is a positive and significant impact on small and medium enterprises innovation.
