Abstract

TORIJA AGUILAR, Jaime. Humanism through transdisciplinarity in art for social transformation. Rev. educ. sup [online]. 2022, vol.51, n.203, pp.15-31.  Epub May 29, 2023. ISSN 0185-2760.  https://doi.org/10.36857/resu.2022.203.2216.

In this paper the study of transdisciplinarity is approached as a humanist strategy that seeks to rescue the ethical and moral values that have been lost throughout history due to the looting of wealth and the extermination of native peoples by the dominant countries. We emphasize that the instrumentation of disciplines and hyperdisciplines are knowledge resources to maintain this domain. In particular, the arts and social sciences find a place to participate in social processes by creating new artistic practices and influencing the common good of human beings.
