Abstract

The objective of this article is to analyze the characteristics of the universities that Latin America requires in the future to deal with social problems, taking into account the positions of university social responsibility (RSU) and educational inclusion. An interpretive- hermeneutical perspective was used, which is based on qualitative research; In addition, we reviewed, analyzed and interpreted scientific articles, documents and reports that contribute to the understanding of the main categories. The results support the importance of universities focused on diversity as a way of contributing to social development.
