Abstract

GONZALEZ CIRIMELE, Lilly. Funcionamiento del poder y del saber en el discurso/texto museográfico comunitario. Cuicuilco [online]. 2008, vol.15, n.44, pp.135-159. ISSN 0185-1659.

The purpose of this article is to analyze, from a transdisciplinary perspective, some processes and conditions that control the semiotic-discursive production of two communitarian museums in Oaxaca State , Mexico: the Communitarian Museum of Shan-Dany and the Communitarian Museum of San José Mogote. We begin with the definition of museographic communitarian discourse/text, which is the main category in this analysis. This is done from different scopes, such as the Museologic Science, the Discourse Analysis and the Semiotic Theory of Culture; allowing us to understand some procedures controlling the communitarian museographic semiotic-discursive production; for example, the intercultural relations that are addressed from the semiosphere, and the game of power and knowledge executed by the producers of the discourse/text, among others.

Keywords : communitarian museums; culture; semiotic; transdisciplinary perspective; museographic discourse/text; semiosphere.
