Abstract

The purpose of the text is to answer different questions related to the social and political profiles of the deputies of the mexican Congress; as well as the gender gap, considering its parliamentary and partisan history, age, educational level and professional career. For it, the author take as elements of study, two Mexican legislators, LXI (2009-2012) and LXII (2012-2015). A database with the information of representatives was created with the idea of ordering fundamental information and also a depth interviews were conducted with key women within political parties.
