Abstract

YANEZ VIVERO, Fátima. The Experience of Civil Law and Common Law with Respect to Civil Liability of Disabled Persons. Bol. Mex. Der. Comp. [online]. 2011, vol.44, n.132, pp.1293-1317. ISSN 2448-4873.

Specifically, the liability derived from damage caused to a third party by a person with disability constitutes the object of this study. For this, some elements of the liability -especially that of guilt- must be examined and their compatibility with certain personal circumstances determined, such as those arising from a psychological disability. The analysis ofthis issue shall be carried out from a comparative perspective, highlighting the agreements and disagreements between so-called Civil Law and Common Law.
