Abstract

In the first part, the author describes how it has been that social, political and economic events of the XX Century have led to the consolidation of a new political space in Europe, characterized by the realism, communication, efficiency, security, participation and liberation of diverse groups of society. In the second part of the essay, the author analyzes the new policies from an ethical perspective, taking as his starting point the consideration of human beings as having the leading role in political life and not as a simple addressees of political decisions. In the third part of the article, the author explains that the ''center'' has recreated itself as an alternative to the ''left'' and the ''right'', as a way of doing politics, abandoning the simplistic schemes of closed ideologies.
