Guidelines for presenting manuscripts:

Directrices para autores/as

EntreDiversidades. Social Sciences & Humanities Journal, publishes only texts in Spanish. It accepts original papers in different fields of the Social Sciences and Humanities consistent with the focus and scope of the Journal and its author(s) author(s) will accept the ethical criteria of this publication when submitting them.

 

We received:

  • Unpublished original Articles product of an investigation.
    Other academic texts such as:
  • Documents that are texts that are generated from archival analysis or study of historical documents (with introduction), such as findings and re-readings.
  • Interviews with characters, scientists, academics, or people who are the subject of analysis of a topic (with introduction).
  • Testimonials (with introduction).
  • Reviews of recently published or created books or works.
  • Portraits (in Memoriam).
  • Chronicles Historical, historiographical, recreations of events, etc.

The submitted texts must be correctly written in Spanish, be unpublished and must not be simultaneously sent to other printed or electronic journals for possible publication.

First step: The contributions received will first be evaluated by the Editorial Committee to ensure that they meet the originality and quality requirements of EntreDiversidades. Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities, and that are adapted to its focus and scope. The result will be disclosed to the authors.

Second step: The texts submitted as articles will have the opinion of at least three referees specialized in the subject, using the blind peer method (double-blind review). The result of the arbitration may be: Approved without modificationsApproved with minor modificationsApproved with major modifications; Refused. If the majority is negative.

Online submissions

EntreDiversidades. Revista de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades uses the editorial manager OJS (Open Journal System) to receive and track originals online.

PRESENTATION OF ORIGINALS

Information about authors

A separate file will include the title in Spanish of the submitted manuscript, the full names of the author(s), author(s) up to three maximum, their institutional affiliations, professional training or higher degree, their lines of research or specialty topics, and interest, email addresses, postal addresses, telephone numbers. Whenever possible, the ORCiD identifier should be included.

The first author will be the correspondence contact that will appear in the article if it is published, once the filters have been passed.

Extension

Articles: 20 to 35 double-spaced pages (1.5 spacing) ―already including the cited bibliography and figures or images―

Interviews: 7 to 30 pages maximum,

Documents or Chronicles: 32 pages maximum.

Reviews and Profiles (In Memoriam): 5 to 15 pages.

Tables, graphs, images and photographs

The tables and graphs must be editable and will go in a separate file (with an indication in the place of the text where they will be included). They will have a title in the header and a Source indication at the bottom. The tables and graphs must be sent in such a way that it is possible to read and distinguish all their elements that integrate them, and that they are not misconfigured when opening the file.

The images and photographs (color or black and white) will have a resolution of 300 dpi (or 12 megapixels at 1980x1080 pixels /FullHD) will go in a separate file (with an indication in the text where they will be included). The source or author, date and place will be indicated.

Book reviews must include the complete bibliographic record with ISBN and the cover image of the reviewed work in JPG format (resolution 300 dpi or 12 megapixels at 1980x1080 pixels /FullHD).

Format, Structure and Order of the Texts.

For easy reading, legible and legible, clear and concise, it is requested that all texts be written with sans-serif typography (font): Arial.

Titles, subtitles and headings should be centered.

Paragraphs of continuous texts should preferably be justified (aligned) both to the left and to the right.

Typography Scores:

Continuous texts: from 11 to 12 points.

Title at 14 points in bold.

Subtitles at 12 points in bold.

Footnotes: 10 points.

Others:

Make use of bold, italics, underlining, when deemed necessary and provided they are from the same font family: Arial.

The text will be presented with 2cm page margins (left and right) on each side.

Line spacing 1.5 space between lines.

Double space between sections or subtopics between paragraphs.

The order that the Journal requests for the articles is the following:

In first order: Title in Spanish, below: Title in English (in italics), Summary in SpanishKeywords in Spanish(5), Abstract (abstract in English) and Keywords in English (5); Main running textConclusion or conclusions; Cited bibliography.
