As pesticides are one of the main residues demanding a special attention, their analysis in food becomes an imperative need. Considering that organophosphorus pesticides are the most used for worldwide pesticide control, a methodological comparison (PAM 302 vs. QuEChERS methods) of the determination of four compounds of this type in matrixes of low and high moisture content was performed in the present study, emphasizing on their assessment depending on the parameters of detection and quantification limits, linearity, accuracy and precision. In addition, the application of both methods in real samples was performed, thus demonstrating its efficiency.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen La tendencia actual por la producción de alimentos inocuos desde el punto de vista químico con el fin de garantizar la salud de los consumidores induce a la necesidad de analizar contaminantes químicos asociados a la producción de estos. Siendo los plaguicidas uno de los principales residuos que demandan especial atención, el análisis de estos en los alimentos se convierte en una necesidad prioritaria. Considerando que los plaguicidas organofosforados son de los más utilizados para el control de plagas a nivel mundial, en el presente estudio se realizó una comparación metodológica (Método PAM 302 vs. QuEChERS) de la determinación de cuatro compuestos de este tipo en matrices de bajo y alto contenido de humedad enfatizando la evaluación de estos en función de los parámetros de límites de detección y cuantificación, linealidad, exactitud y precisión. Además, se realizó la aplicación de ambos métodos en muestras reales demostrando así su eficiencia.]]></p></abstract>
