Mission
The journal is a semiannual publication whose objective is to function as a space to disseminate academic research carried out in the framework of social sciences in general, and of the law in particular, whose central theme is the right to information , as well as various nearby topics: accountability, freedom of expression, media and telecommunications regulation, data protection, transparency, access to information systems, file conservation mechanisms, to name a few. The journal seeks research that provides theoretical and practical solutions to the reality of the current information society and in the context of the knowledge economy. At the same time it will serve to strengthen specialization in the field of the right to information aimed at researchers, students, professionals and public servants. The studies of the right to information included in the journal will be characterized by being multidisciplinary and using the transversal approach to the right to information as a research problem. Questions are raised about the role of legal norms and public policies in the processes of economic development, communication, government and public and private power. Texts in Spanish, English and Portuguese are published. Semiannual publication.
