Tzintzun. Revista de Estudios Históricos is a semiannual publication of the Instituto de Investigaciones Históricas of the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo. For little more than 20 years, like any other journal specializing in historical topics, has fulfilled a dual role. On the one hand is the showcase to disclose the results of the research carried out by the same university department that publishes it in the areas of History of Michoacan, History of Mexico, and History of Latin America and the Caribbean. On the other hand, provides a forum for disseminating the latest research carried out by specialists working in several higher education institutions, domestic and foreign.
