This paper presents some relevant aspects in the design and construction of foundations for wind turbines. Design criteria are exposed and tasks in the construction stage. It develops an analysis of the geometry and its impact on the design variables, evaluating pressures, steel required, rotational stiffness, fatigue of materials, among others. Finally, conclusions are drawn regarding the graphs obtained and construction-related tasks.
