Dear Academic Community,

As 2024 draws to a close -the year of commemoration of the 60th anniversary of our Universidad Anahuac Mexico- we take this opportunity to reflect on the milestones that have allowed us to consolidate The Anáhuac Journal as a magazine committed to academic and scientific excellence and the dissemination of high-impact research. This year was marked by significant changes in our editorial management.

One meaningful achievement was the implementation of a continuous publication model. This change allows us to publish accepted articles immediately after completing the editorial process, optimizing publication times and enhancing the content’s visibility and accessibility.

In June, we reached an important breakthrough in our internationalization efforts by publishing our first issue entirely in English. Furthermore, the inaugural symposium of The Anáhuac Journal was held, providing an invaluable forum for academics and researchers to engage in discussions and foster networks of scientific collaboration.

Our commitment to expanding our global presence has borne fruit. In 2024, 33% of the articles we published featured contributions from authors affiliated with institutions worldwide. Also, we increased the number of articles published in English from five in 2023 to fourteen in 2024, reinforcing our reach in the global academic and scientific community.

Looking ahead, we are dedicated to enhancing our quality metrics, broadening our network of international collaborators, and amplifying the impact of our published research. These efforts aim to align The Anáhuac Journal with the standards upheld by the world’s most prestigious scientific journal indexers.

None of these accomplishments would have been possible without the steadfast support of our community. We extend our deepest gratitude to our readers, authors, reviewers, and Editorial Board members for their invaluable trust and commitment.
