This article describes the transformational leadership of José López Yepes through experiential aspects, facts and situations that occurred during the academic, personal and professional treatment that he had with the human being, the academic and researcher and the friend. It is developed under the case method from the facts, to verify conceptual and theoretical supports on leadership, which in practice, Dr. José López Yepes adequately represents.
