This article aims to highlight the role of the inclusion advisor within the educational community, recognizing them as a key figure in redirecting and implementing inclusive policies, cultures, and practices. Through an action research approach, case studies, interviews, and observations were analyzed in public schools in Jalisco to shed light on the work of the inclusion advisor in strengthening inclusive education. The findings reveal that the inclusion advisor not only faces the inherent challenges of educational inclusion but also facilitates the transformation of teaching practices, promoting more accessible and equitable school environments. Their intervention was found to foster the active participation of all students and contribute to their retention in the educational system. The official recognition of this role within the special education services in Jalisco is essential for consolidating effective inclusive strategies. Making its impact visible will help strengthen attention to diversity and ensure quality education for all.
