The main objective of this paper is to deepen the conceptual reflections and approaches related to the processes of appropriation of information and communication technologies to establish a critical view of its implementation in educational training spaces. To this end, empirical experiences are integrated, by hand of selected authors from the vast academic production with the purpose of serving as conceptual/ methodological support. It is always sought to underline the points of inflection and contrast between the imaginaries that are anchored to the appropriation of technology in the face of the multiplicity of realities of the Mexican context.
