Breast cancer is the most common neoplasia, with the highest mortality in women worldwide. The tenth update of the Me-xican Consensus on Diagnosis and Treatment of Breast Cancer (2023) is published by its authors in different articles. This article includes the management of advanced breast cancer, the adjuvant systemic treatment, the role of surgery and radiotherapy in metastatic disease, and follow-up after treatment with curative intent. The dissemination of this consensus contri-butes to the updating and homogeneity of breast cancer management of advanced stages.
