Abstract: We emphasize here the crucial importance of Hermes in our symbolic imaginary, figure that unites the ctonic or draconian character (as demon-serpent) with the winged or aerial character (as eagle), as narrated in the archisymbol of its caduceus. Universal guide, god of mediation and communication; relational god of opposites that, unexpectedly, allows to find and discover paths not seen before.
