PACHECO URISTA, Laura Y. y GONZALEZ RIZO, J. Erick. Between the silence and oblivion. Prehispanic waterworks in the basin of Magdalena , Jalisco. Let. hist. [online]. 2016, n.15, pp.17-41. ISSN 2448-8372.
This work is part of the analysis of early colonial sources, looking for the evidence of waterworks and agricultural practices on the pre-Columbian societies in the Tequila valleys during the Late Post Classic period (1400 / 1450-1525 A.D.). In particular, the use of raised fields or wet fields (similar to mexica chinampas), which were recorded and known for the Late Formative / Early Classic period (200 B.C. -350 A.D.); looking for signs of a possible cultural continuum in the region.
Palabras llave : Raised fields; wet fields; Hydraulic Practices; waterworks; Magdalena Lagoon.
