This paper presents a phonological analysis of the Mexican Spanish linguistic game known as idioma efe (Ef Language), which consists of the insertion of a reduplicant -fV, considering it a case of reduplicating infixation, based on the postulates of prosodic morphology (McCarthy, 2020). It also proposes two differentiated infixation modalities or strategies, and addresses the consequences and descriptive challenges of the interaction of vowel sequences and stress structure.
