MUNOZ DEL REAL, Gloria. Competitiveness in Rural SMEs. Investig. adm. [online]. 2025, vol.54, n.135, 00004. Epub 16-Jun-2025. ISSN 2448-7678. https://doi.org/10.35426/iav54n135.04.
The study's objective was to determine whether the cost structure promotes the competitiveness of rural MiPyMEs more when strategic alliances influence it or when it adequately manages human resources. The research method was longitudinal-retrospective and quantitative. The results validated that the cost structure is strengthened more by strategic alliances because they promote markets, develop products, and improve communication with customers, directly influencing the competitiveness of companies. The findings show that a cost structure oriented towards informed decisions and strategic alliances that promote innovative and quality products strengthen the competitiveness of rural MiPyMEs. The limitation of the study was the number of active MiPyMEs at the time of data collection. Showing the relationship that the cost structure has with the competitiveness of rural MiPyMEs is the originality of the work.
