REYES RENDON, Jazmín Itzel; VARGAS MARTINEZ, Elva Esther y HERNANDEZ SANCHEZ, Alexis Ricardo. Corporate Social Responsibility and Organizational Commitment among Employees of AllInclusive Hotels. Investig. adm. [online]. 2025, vol.54, n.135, 00002. Epub 16-Jun-2025. ISSN 2448-7678. https://doi.org/10.35426/iav54n135.02.
The objective of the study is to analyze the influence of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on organizational commitment (OC) in the hotel sector of Puerto Morelos, Mexico, from the employees' perspective. A quantitative method was used, employing the technique of partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), along with complementary descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings prove that CSR has a significant and positive influence on CO, validating the hypothesis put forward. Business ethics was found to have the greatest impact. It is evident that the hotel sector faces problems related to working conditions, affecting the emotional bonds and sense of belonging that employees have with their companies. The originality of the analysis for the field of tourism lies in a deeper theoretical explanation of the variables studied. The limitations correspond to the category of the hotels studied and the exclusively employee perspective, which could be extended to other groups.
