This article aims to present evidence on the statistical relationship that exists between economic growth and transportation infrastructure in Mexico. For this purpose, information by federal entity for the period 2005- 2021 was used. Econometric estimates were carried out with grouped panel data, with fixed, random, and dynamic effects. It was found that the transportation infrastructure variable was positively correlated with economic growth; even more so, the infrastructure variable turned out to be the cause of economic growth. The originality of this article lies in the fact that it provides updated information on the transport infrastructure-growth relationship, which is vital at a time when global production chains are being reorganized and a new public federal administration, responsible for encouraging productive dynamism begin operations in the country.
