The main idea in this essay is to explore how the economy of desire and the erotic capital operate as fundamental pieces of the new dynamic of seduction through websites and applications in mobile devices, particularly in a website for meetings among men; emphasis is focused on the phantasmal usage of this type of sites, whose frames of digital interaction transform the traditional scripts of seduction. Similarly, the two dimensions of the negotiation in the process of “hooking up” between two users are analysed.
