Sport has been attributed to several positive aspects for the development of human beings. Then, it is stated that the practice of sports contributes directly to the improvement of physical health. Also, sports have been used as a tool for reparation and reconciliation between the victims and perpetrators of various armed conflicts that have occurred worldwide. This journal article analyses the importance of sport as a means of social reintegration for the victims of the Colombian armed conflict. This is how sports have become a tool of hope and resilience for the victims, who through sports have managed to overcome the devastating effects of the war and have found in it a means of integral reparation that has allowed them an adequate social reintegration.
