The State response when a minos person commits a crime requires specialized attention. For the estableshment of this specialized system, both the United Nations Organizatios and the Organizatiosn of American States have estableshed through various instruments a series of principles that must be observed in juvenile criminal justice systems. As part of these principles is the application of Aleternative Mechanisms for Dispute Resolution and Restorative Processes.
