This paper analyzes the repercussion of the new notion of business secrets contained in Spanish Law 1/2019, of February 20, 2019, of Business Secrets (LSE) and its possible projection in the workplace. This law is based on a notion of business secrecy that does not apply to collective labor relations. The information rights and the powers of consultation of the workers' representatives are exempt from the business faculty to qualify business secrets.
