Objective:
A review of the factors that determine the consumption of bovine milk in the municipality of Texcoco, State of Mexico.
Methodology:
Two statistical models of logistic regression (Logit) and probabilistic regression (Probit) were used, which were fed with information from a survey of 400 questionnaires applied to consumers.
Results:
According to the models carried out, it was found that the most significant variables that explain the consumption of bovine milk are the gender, scholarship, and family income of the consumers.
Limitations:
Low availability of people to answer the questionnaire.
Conclusion:
It is recommended that there be more information on the health benefits and harms of bovine milk consumption for better consumption decisions of this product.
