This article aims to investigate the existence of open data public policies Mexico considering international open data indicators together with the Open Government Commitment undertaken by Mexico upon the Open Government Partnership between 2013 and 2015. It will also present proposals and mechanisms of open data actions that complement open government and allow to generate greater public value of the data available to citizens.
