This article aims to analyze the contributing flows from groundwater in three micro-basins of the Manabí province located in the upper basin of tributaries to the Poza Honda and La Esperanza dams, for which three years of flows will be analyzed with a daily resolution, in these estuaries that have intermittent flows, which denotes a base flow contribution with respect to the proportionality of the flow that in times of low water in which direct runoff is almost nil. The derivation of the recession constant was carried out by using a numerical method to obtain the base flow recession constant used previously by Bako and Hunt.
