The purpose of this article is to offer a brief explanation of the prominent role played by the Franciscan Luis Sotelo in the Hasekura Mission; to reach their goals and increase conversions in Japan, he managed to combine their interests with the business objectives of Date Masamune. It also will count very general avatars suffered by Japanese company involved in the mission.
