JIMENEZ PEREZ, Ana Lucía y SANTOYO VELASCO, Carlos. Information Evaluation and Implementation Skills in Master’s Degree Students. Acta de investigación psicol [online]. 2023, vol.13, n.3, pp.5-15. Epub 03-Dic-2024. ISSN 2007-4719. https://doi.org/10.22201/fpsi.20074719e.2023.3.507.
The psychologist requires ability to evaluate the best scientific evidence in their knowledge area and to implement interventions effectively; however, these skills have been analyzed separately in different studies. Therefore, little has been known about the transference of information evaluation skills to intervention skills. The aim is to compare learning transference of information evaluation skills and intervention skills, in master’s degree students, considering their level of performance in a scientific text analysis task and a simulated implementation task. Participated ten master’s degree students. A nomothetic, punctual and multidimensional observational design was used. There were differences in deduction and information evaluation skills; no differences were found in intervention skills overall, but in that involve social reinforcement implementation. Discussion considers the implications of psychologist training, in order to promote the transference process of scientific and professional skills.
