This article aims to trace the development of global governance in outer space and Public Health, following the identification of this issue as a priority in the 1999 General Assembly Resolution “Space Millennium.” Governance has been a concept that encompasses a wide range of processes involving the use of public resources at the local, national, and international levels, which makes its analysis relevant in this particular case. Using the tracking process method, this article identifies periods defined by priority issues, the key actors and alliances between international organizations, as well as the processes for determining priority topics. It also examines how these programs have been implemented in Mexico by the Ministry of Health and the Mexican Space Agency (MSA).
