Abstract

The study objective was to validate the Questionnaire for the Evaluation of Academic Goals in the context of the investigation. 1,235 students participating in the schools of Faculty of Health Sciences, Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo, Ecuador (October 2018-February 2019). The process was carried out through the triangulation of procedures, by contrasting the results of analysis of principal components and normality, statistical modeling, fractional range estimation of Bloom, statistical tests, Cronbach’s alpha, Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin, Bartlett’s test for sphericity and the ANOVA with the Tukey’s test of non-additivity. The normal distribution of the data was established, the existence of four main components whose total variances ranged between 32.78% and 4.81%, with values of Cronbach’s Alpha from 0.762 to 0.868 and a general one of 0.917, the level of Sample adequacy and reliability of results were very significant (p<0.001). Based on these results, the instrument mentioned above was validated in the context studied.
