Abstract
SANTILLANA VALLEJO, Pamela; HUICOCHEA GOMEZ, Laura; GRACIA, María Amalia and CAHUICH CAMPOS, Diana. The Importance of the Affective and Emotional Dimension of the Members of a Social Organization that swap Plants in San Francisco de Campeche. Península [online]. 2022, vol.17, n.1, pp.61-84. Social organization is of vital importance in personal and interpersonal crisis situations, because it provides spaces for dialogue, respect and solidarity. Statistical data indicates that Campeche is one of the five states in the country with the lowest number of social organizations (Ministry of Social Development 2018). However, in this investigation, it was registered that there are non-official essential organizations, in the life of working-class people from that place, such as "Campeche, por amor a la madre naturaleza". This group stands out for its philosophy based on non-monetary swap and for its reciprocity practices in the emotional crisis processes of its participants. From the ethnographic record, it was identified that unofficial social organization practices not only establish an important affective pillar in those unexpected crises, but also develop a fundamental role in the face of economic situations in a sector that shows unemployment gaps and lack of social security.
